KDT German Shorthaired Pointers

Hi everyone it's me Clay, all they way in Welland Ontario Canada!!!
I am at my new home with my new mommy and my new brothers and sister.. I love it here. Two of the doggies here are just a little bit bigger than me but they are all grown up. My best buddies in the house are Jitter and Sticky, especially Sticky. He is a GSP just like me! I am learning so much right now and mommy said I am such a smart puppy. I am only 8 weeks old and I know where my door is to go outside. Mommy and I are also working so hard at learning to be a show doggie. It's pretty cool having a Jr. Handler as a mommy cause she is so much fun when we are trying new things. I can't wait to get bigger and try all the cool things that the other doggies do in this house...

Well gotta run! There is a house full of doggie toys that need to be played with and a big back yard that I am starting to check out.

....a little Desi update...

He is truly best dog that’s ever happened to either of us. He’s quite a love bug.

A few weeks ago we started a beginning agility and rally obedience class with Desi. It’s something fun for us to do in the winter. Desi is a natural. He and Derrick are a great team at the agility while with me he’s a star at the rally obedience. ;o) Desi is truly enjoying the experience. At the end of each class the trainer sets up a course and each dog and owner team is able to run the course with no one else on the field. When he’s finished his course he gets what the trainer calls the “zoomies” and what we call his “happy dog dance” and he just runs and bounds around the room like a goof ball. The trainer says while it’s not encouraged during competition it’s fun to watch since it means they are really enjoying themselves!

Oh, in Dec. he also mastered fetching a Frisbee. We had to find a new fetch toy as we were losing scads of tennis balls in the snow! - Carolyn

Hi Rebecca.. Just thought I would drop you a line and tell you how much I am,enjoying Roxie (Sparkle)!!!. As you can see in the picture she goes every where I go!!!. I have to ask you are all your GSP as Loving as Roxie? She is such a Joy!!!! She is a Natural retriever she will bring back what ever you throw!! She loves, when I throw the Frisbee people watch and they are amazed !!! I have taken her,out Pheasant Hunting and she went on point what a beautiful sight !!!!!Once again I have to say I am so Lucky to have found Roxie! ! It is breeders like you that love what they do and keep the breed GOING STRONG!!

Hi Rebecca! It's almost unbelievable that your puppies are turning 1 this week! Sorry we haven't been in touch for a while, but we were very busy. We have moved to a great house with a bigger yard for Dante (Tank). Vlad was quite busy at work so it took us some time to get settled in the new house, unpack and get organized again. Dante had no trouble adjusting to the new environment. He loves the yard, where there is lots of room to run, bushes to go through and some squirrels and chipmunks to chase out of his "territory". We are also taking him for obedience classes every Saturday. He is doing great in school but at home he still thinks he's the boss :) !! He is very excited when we come or leave the house. He jumps and tries to take our jackets off. He also loves to check and eat everything that is on the kitchen counter. He also "steals" our socks/slippers and loves to tear a box of kleenex whenever he has the chance to do so. Every weekend we take Dante on a trail (5km), where he loves to run around and explore.
